In memory of Lew Zenczak

It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of a wonderful man.  Lew Zenczak passed away this weekend in Phoenix, AZ after a battle with cancer.

For twenty three years I had the great privilege of calling him one of my closest friends.  Lew was a great friend of Micro Abrasives as well, which was evident as he walked the halls during his many visits here.  Lew was well like and admired by all the employees at Micro and he returned this admiration with kind words and educational conversation with each employee he saw.  Lew was one of the most knowledgeable individuals in the lapping and polishing field.   There wasn’t a lapping machine or application he couldn’t fix or improve.  He was a true master of his trade and one that cannot be replaced.

We will miss Lew’s visits.

We will miss Lew’s core knowledge.

We will miss Lew’s advice.

We will miss Lew’s laugh and smile.

But most of all we will miss Lew.
